Atlas is designed as a publicly accessible product, resulting from the collaborative effort of a very wide network of authors. With the most obvious focus on mapping participatory budgeting processes active on the planet, this team tends to broaden its scope of action to produce thematic debates, which allow to broaden and enrich knowledge about participatory budgeting beyond the numbers. 

The discussions should adopt the following guidelines:
​

• Have at least one coordinator
• Contribute to the collective production of knowledge about PB
• Hold the debate off the page, focusing on this one only its results
• Ensure products are published exclusively in the Atlas on paper and online
